Jill Taylor-Brown, the Director of Patient and Family Support Services at CancerCare Manitoba reports, “Floral Philanthropy happened at CancerCare Manitoba, and these blooms were received with surprise and absolute delight from our patients.”

Kathy Harrison, the Manager of Volunteer Services at CancerCare Manitoba summed it up best, “We cannot wait until the next delivery.”

Philipa Caplan, Manager at MacDonald Youth Services, “Many thanks from all of us to you at Floral Philanthropy for providing us with the wonderful bouquets of sunflowers.  It means the world to us and our kids to have friends like you who delivery donated flowers to help provide extra cheer throughout our home and workplace.”

Sister Lesley Sacouman at House of Peace, “Your flowers are everywhere, making our home spectacular.  We put two of the bouquets in the chapel.  Your FP team and all the donors and supporters of Floral Philanthropy bring joy and goodness into our world.  Love, S.Lesley”

Ellen Locke, Manager of Recreation Services at Misericordia Health Centre, “Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers.  We put them all over Mis Place and on the second and third Interim Floors.  What a treat for the residents in the dead of winter weather…”

Sandy Hasenack, Nursing Volunteer, “Your efforts to arise early in the morning to brighten the lives of Manitobans who are going through a difficult time is a priceless gift.  As a student in the Spiritual Diversity Course in Spiritual Health Services, thank you so much for what you have instigated and carried through on – Bravo!!  The flowers’ effect was immediate with smiles and laughter all around.  Several patients (Convalescent Home of Winnipeg) said, “you mean this flower is for me.”  Nature can have a dramatic impact and those beautiful bouquets made me feel that we were telling the patients we care, get better soon.”
